Lagos Urban Music: M.I, Sunny Neji, Sound Sultan, 9ice, Others To Lift Independence Day Show

Plans are now complete for the second edition of the Lagos Urban Music Festival scheduled to hold at the Freedom Park, Lagos Island, on October 1, 2016. The event promises to add beauty to the celebration of Nigeria's 56th Independence Day.

The festival, which is being organised by Naija ninja production in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture, The event will give music and art lovers the opportunity to watch their favourite Nigeria urban acts perform live on stage . Over 25 artistes and 10 Disc jockey are expected to be on stage

Among the list of artistes on parade are M.I, Eedris AbdulKareem, Sunny Neji, sound Sultan , 9ice, jaywon, pepenazi, general Pype, ruggedman, Solid star, Baba Dee,Joel, Ycee and others. According to Mr Dare fasasi the festival director , the Lagos state government  guarantees security of lives and properties of audience at the event,  He says  “it’s a major activity for the independence celebration and we are happy to partner with the Lagos State government and Dufil group of companies makers of indomie noddles, The event is an annual celebration of Lagos as a tourism destination, and it provides first class entertainment for fun loving Nigerians during the independence holiday.

The Naija ninja boss added, that the Lagos Urban music festival is a day-long  family centric outdoor musical festival in a style of its own.
