Two years after his last album released, self-styled ‘Port
Harcourt’s first son’, Duncan Mighty is
on the verge of pushing out his fifth studio album entitled Certificate.
The album, according to reports, will drop on September 16,
2016 worldwide.
In a chat with our correspondent, Duncan Mighty explains
what to expect from the album saying, ‘It’s
an album with variety of African Port-Harcourt hits with melodious, vibes and
lyrics that’s not just sweet when listening to it but also educates, add value
to lives and most especially songs to motivate the youth on the streets. I
intend to use the album to speak to Nigerian youths to shun violence and
embrace their God given talent’.
Asked why he’s dropping the album two years after his
fourth studio album, Duncan simply says, ‘God’s time is the best’.
His debut album Koliwater was released in
2008. His sophomore Ahamefuna (Legacy) followed in
2010) while his third and fourth studio albums Footprints and Grace
& Talentwere released in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
