in birthday cash was snatched from her purse‚ just days after the 80th
celebration.
The struggle stalwart has opened a
case of theft at the Orlando East police station‚ Gauteng police spokesperson
Captain Kay Makhubela confirmed.

a case of theft at the Orlando East police station.
Madikizela-Mandela discovered the
money had gone missing when she took her bag out of her wardrobe to fetch cash
for bread‚ it said.
She allegedly received the money as
a birthday gift.
Madikizela-Mandela spent much of
September celebrating her birthday‚ with a final bash held at Emperor’s Palace
on Monday night.
Earlier on Monday‚ she was surrounded
by thousands of African National Congress Women’s League members in Soweto‚
where she was serenaded by musicians Sechaba and Lundi as guests tucked into
pap‚ gravy and chicken‚ and quaffed their fill of cooldrinks.
