The gospel and dancehall singer said: “We’re working on the album, the album is
called ‘’The living” because we believe no child should die as a result of lack
of medical care, that is the reason why we are recording the album so we can
sell, raise funds to save more children, put up a concert, you know, for every
ticket you buy, you ‘re donating for us to be able to save kids, and the long
term vision for the project is to build a free treatment hospital for children
between the age of zero and 13”.
Lambo alongside Mr Clayy released a single earlier
on this year 2016 featuring Chidinma,
titled ‘I am a winner’. The song has been receiving good reception from
Nigeria and South Africa. The tune was produced by Mr Kamara, a South-African producer, and also has an accompanying
video which was shot somewhere in the Sub Saharan Africa by Matt Max with some heroic razzmatazz
and gladiator masterpiece.
The pair – Lamboginny and Clayy have an EP self titled ‘’Lamboginny
and Clay”, which houses songs such as ‘Bolaji’, and ‘Hello’ .
The reggae-dancehall singer seems to have a thing with
beautiful divas having worked with Livespot
entertainment’s Zaina in
a cover of Jamaican singer Shabba
Ranks’s ‘Mr Loverman’ and also with ex-beauty queen and
rapper cum OAP Muna in
‘All I want’ , with the two having planned to release a collective
EP. Muna did say she believes they(she and Lambo) share a certain ‘magical’
chemistry.
