There seems to be confusion trailing one of Nigeria’s hottest pop groups, P-square,
concerning the members unity as their first-ever manager, Howie T has opened up
to the media about their impending break-up.
Howie who managed Africa’s most loved group after they won a
Benson & Hedges talent hunt in 2001before their brother Jude Okoye, a
former musician himself, took over as the band’s manager in 2005 revealed Jude
is the main problem with the group.

According to him, “When
I saw Peter’s Tweets, I called him and even went to see him to talk to him
about it. He said Jude is the problem that he doesn’t have any issue with Paul.”
“He told me that in a normal setting, a
manager is supposed to be their employee and not the other way round, but Jude
always uses his influence as their elder brother to boss over them. He also
said managers collect between 15 – 25 % of an artiste’s income but in their
case they share everything equally and he’s not happy with that sharing
formula.”
He also revealed Paul and Jude vote for more of Paul’s songs
than Peter’s which also led to their split.
He said, “Peter is
a composer, dancer and singer, when they sit down to vote on songs that’ll make
their album, Paul and Jude vote for more of Paul’s songs than Peter’s and these
are the things that pisses him off’.
“It has gone beyond just beef now, there’s a
lot of ego at play,” he reiterated.
To him, for peace to reign Jude should just leave them alone
so there’ll be a Psquare tomorrow.
Peter Okoye yesterday, March 16, 2016 came to
the defence of his brother, Paul after a fan insulted him
calling him a dick. According to the singer, he has no issues with Paul and
fans should leave his brother out of it.
Paul Okoye recently dropped a song ‘Call heaven’ in
reaction to the ongoing drama brewing between him and brother Peter Okoye.
