"Hell Or High Water" Premieres In Lagos

The much looked-forward-to short film "Hell or High Water," which
explores sexuality and spirituality, has been premiered in Nigeria. The premiere which held on Sunday, May 5, 2016 at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas. was attended by celebrities including Wole Ojo, Tope Oshin, Denrele Edun, Bolanle Olukanni, Shade Ladipo, Ifeanyi Dike among others. Starring 2016 AMVCA best actor winner, Daniel K. Daniel, Enyinna Nwigwe, the movie also stars Ashionye M. Racca, Tunbosun Aiyedehin, Adedayo Davies and Chika Okeke. "Hell or High Water" tells the story of a young pastor loved and adored by the people around him. Things change for him when he has to confront a hidden truth about himself—a truth that could make or break him psychologically. But, whatever decision he makes, he is still going to crash and burn, for life as he once knew it would never be the same again. The story explores the reality of sexuality amidst spirituality, exorcism, blackmail, and family life. Hell or High Water challenges stereotypical narratives about sexuality and spirituality. Written By Habeeb Lawal, and produced by Asurf Oluseyi, the short film is yet to get a release date.
