Any keen Nollywood follower must have heard about the terms 'Asaba Nollywood' and 'New versus Old Nollywood'.

While most Nollywood actors and filmmakers do not accept that any sort of discrimination exists in the movie industry, some actually do believe that there is such.

Nollywood actress and producer, Yvonne Jegede would hear nothing of that as she took to her official Instagram page to share a video and message aimed at expressing her support for 'Asaba Nollywood'. For her, it is the origin of the Nigerian movie industry.

Jegede posted: "This is where we started! so we say no to discrimination....what u term #ASABAMOVIES is nollywood....our cinematography is very good, our actors are the BEST, our Directors are very good...and our scripts are better!
