Wizkid Announces Sunday Are As New Manager

Wizkid has engaged a new manager for himself. His name is Sunday Are.

The act is currently one of the most prominently featured artistes in Africa, with massive international acceptance and brand recognition.

To further consolidate his position in the market, the Nigerian artiste embarked on some personnel changes among whom is Sunday Are announced as his new manager. Wizkid made this public on Isnatgram, with a picture of him and Sunday Are.

“Mr Sunday Are making sure everything goes well in Africa! Manager toh bad”, the post read.

The two are currently in South Africa where Wizkid is busy shooting new music videos ahead of the release of his next album.

Sunday Are is one of the oldest artiste managers in Nigeria. He has over 35 years’ experience in the entertainment industry and has guided so many Nigerian artistes to becoming superstars today.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of List Entertainment, which has had a number of superstar artistes its books including D'banj, Wande Coal, Omawumi, D'prince, J Martins, Dr Sid, Samini, Bracket, Remy Kayz, and White Man.

In the past Wizkid had had a number of high profile managers, including Osagie Osarenkhoe and Godwin Tom who he fired in 2014.

Meanwhile, Wizkid has also shot the video of a new unreleased single.

The video shot in Johannesburg, by his trusted filmmaker Sesan Ogunro, appears to be a pop visual with an expensive car pictured in one of the stills released by the star on Instagram.

Wizkid  over the weekend performed a new single with Chris Brown in South Africa.
