Nollywood African Film Critics Honour Hadiza Umar
Hadiza Umar is neither into the arts nor entertainment. But the showbiz industry recently recognized her worth by bestowing with an award in faraway United States of America. She was honoured award of  Outstanding Support to Nollywood and Humanity recently by Nollywood African film critics (NAFCA).

Though Hajia as she is fondly called may not boast of a doctorate degree, she has through the dint of hard work and honesty built a conglomerate that is worthy of envy.
Hajia Umar's silent and solid strides have enabled her to build and run a company that currently employs a workforce of over a thousand. She has also handled numerous contracts for federal government and her agencies, and other organizations in the private sectors. Her philanthropy and human empowerment programmes have touched thousands of youths and the less privileged in the society.
She hinted that plans are on to welcome her latest bundle of joy in a grand style. In a brief chat with Umar, she posited, "I owe all that I am to the Almighty. When I started up Hazdokas West Africa Ltd in 2000 / 2001, my startup capital was in the region of 50,000 naira. Through the Grace of Allah, hard work and honesty, I grew my resources to the point we are now. You cannot count highly active indigenous construction company without mentioning Hazdokas West Africa Ltd. The lady whose long term ambition is for her organization to stand shoulder to shoulder with construction giant, Julius Berger PLC enjoined Nigeria youths, 'Make honesty your watch word. If you are given a job to do, do it diligently and be very open and honest. That way you will always be entrusted with higher responsibility' Hajia Hadiza Umar is set to establish and  finance an NGO to expand and coordinate her philanthropic undertakings.
