New dancehall artiste Lexikon thinks the dancehall music genre is the hope and future of Ghana’s music industry.
Lexikon, born William Bramwell Koufie, is known as the “dancehall diction” among his pals. He is a young versatile artiste.
He began his music career as a student of Mfantsipim Senior High School and gradually became a household name in Cape Coast and its environs.
His passion for the game could not meet the struggles and demands of the industry so he put music aside to pursue higher education.
But he is back now with a new single, “Fire Burning”, which is the first single from his upcoming album, “Confrontation.” He is currently in the studio working on his next single, “Tear Drop”, produced by Red Eye of 2Toff fame.
“My album is likely to feature Sarkodie, Stonebwouy, Reggie Rockstone, Nii Lantey and Wiyaala,” he disclosed.
Lexikon is poised to lift the genre to the next level with his unique stagecraft.
