Lagos Dancers Amaze Dance With Peter Judges
 Uzo Chikere
Lagos contestants for the Dance With Peter show have been unanimously adjuged the most impressive of the five auditions held in Lagos, Abuja, Benin, Port Harcourt and Accra, Ghana. This verdict was passed by the, Peter Okoye, Don Flexx and Kaffy.
Commenting on the quality of contestants in the auditions, dance queen, Kaffy, said: “So far for me, the quality of contestants has been impressive. They have shown they can surely be groomed to be of the high standard we are looking for as we progress in the show.
“Lagos surprisingly impressed me the most. This is because, from my experience as a judge on many dance platforms, Lagos has always had all bark no bite as commercial dancing has robbed the dancers of the zeal to work hard at improving their techniques and skill acquisition.  But this time, I feel they were more enlightened and as such have produced most of our finest for the show”.
Another judge, Peter of PSquare who is the organizer of the competition, also shared Kaffy's views, adding, “It's been impressive so far and I get motivated by the contestants even as a judge. Lagos for me was the most impressive. The participants gave it their all and I can really see that they are hungry to move to the next level.”
In the same vein, professional choreographer and dance instructor, Don Flexx, said, “Lagos was by far the most impressive. I feel maybe because the city is the centre of entertainment, a lot of opportunities to polish their skills are provided there, making it possible for them to upgrade and update their skills when it comes to consistency.”
The star prize of the Globacom powered show is a brand new Toyota RAV 4 with N3million and the rare opportunity of featuring in P-Square’s next music video to the winner of the dancing competition.
The first and second runners-up, on the other hand, will go home with a brand new Honda Civic car, N2million and a brand new Kia Rio car with N1million respectively and a chance to feature in top Glo Ambassador's music videos.

Various artistes exhibiting hip-hop and gospel music forms as well as formidable Yoruba thespian, Odunlade Adegoke fed Residents of Ikorodu with a full dose of revels  in a night cast in drama and music at the Season Two of Glo Slide ‘N Bounce staged last weekend in the town.
The show started with over 2000 young and old residents of Ikorodu thronging the Ikorodu Musical Village venue who turned the show into a festival. Female and male dancers from the town spiced up the event with local flavor. They sang and celebrated with all the artistes present to the delight of the crowd.
The show properly kicked-off with Yaro crooner and sensational female lyricist, Di'Ja, thrilling the enthusiastic crowd with her hottest songs including "Awww" and "Amen". She drove the crowd to a frenzy whilst controling the stage perfectly, using her petite frame to maximum advantage.
Nigeria's gospel singer and "Welu-Welu" exponent, Sammie Okposo was the next artiste to come on stage. The gospel act who urged the crowd to move closer to the stage got a good response as the revellers joined him in singing his mostly praise worship songs. He was later propelled by the crowd to take the show to the spiritual level with his ecumenical lyrics.
The tempo of the show later changed as Wande Coal mounted the stage and moved to solid hip hop. The powerful vocalist, started with his evergreen track, "You Bad" which got the mammoth crowd dancing and rocking and he followed with different tracks from the defunct Mo Hits, including the latest a Sima Peyin which kept the crowd asking for more.
This was followed by the entrance of one of the newest Glo brand ambassadors, Odunlade Adekola. The Nollywood actor who dramatically narrated his encounter with some fans outside the stage was welcomed with a loud ovation and he lived up to the expectations of the crowd.
The hall went wild in applause when Odunlade who said he had got a request from his fans to re-enact the way he acts in movies right before them pulled a pretty lady on stage and she agreed to kiss him the way he kisses in his films, but the actor failed to show his skill in that department.
Taraba-born rapper, M.I was the last artiste to perform at the show. Combining very well with his female DJ, Lambo, they were a delight to watch. The rapper who was visibly shocked as the Ikorodu crowd sang along with him in the entire track, however kept the audience spell-bound with mastery of his songs and stage razzmatazz.
