Metro FM Stages All Flavours Concert In Lagos

All roads, will on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 lead to the Shell Hall of MUSON Center, Lagos as the premier FM station in Nigeria, Metro 97.7fm stages a classy end of year musical concert for its clients, listeners and friends.
This is the first time the recently rebranded FM station will be staging a concert of such magnitude. Aptly dubbed FYNE 1.0-the all flavours concert, it will afford clients, listeners and friends of the wave making radio station the opportunity to enjoy music that cuts across all genres in a relaxed atmosphere.
According to a release signed by the General manager of Metro 97.7FM, Miss Cordelia Okpei, 'FYNE 1.0, an acronym for Flavors You Naturally Enjoy is a series born out of the newly rebranded tagline of Metro 97.7FM which is for all flavours .' The dreadlocks-spotting ace broadcaster equally added:
"FYNE 1.0 is the first of the series of music concerts Metro FM hopes to present annually to our esteemed clients, listeners and the general public. This year's concert brings together different genres of music on one stage. Indeed at the all flavours concert, there is something for everyone. That is why we say-whatever your flavour; FYNE 1.0,the all flavours concert has got you covered"

Artistes billed to perform include Timi Dakolo,Yemi Alade, MC Galaxy, Praiz, Salvador Sango, Solo Urete from Niger Delta, Olu jazz among several others. Koffi the Commedian is the host. The event starts with a red carpet at 5:00 pm while the show proper starts at 6: 00 pm.

Rabilu Musa Popular Hausa Actor Passes On

The Nigerian film industry has recently suffered yet another loss as popular Kannywood actor and comedian, Rabilu Musa aka Dan Ibro is dead. The actor passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2014.
Rabilu was popular for his role in the movie Maidaben Bagi. He was also on several occasions, jailed by the former governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau.
Rabilu Musa was arrested for acting in movies believed to be violating the censorship rules in Kano. Rabilu is also believed to have featured in more movies than any Kannywood actor.
Late Rabilu Musa has since been buried according to Islamic rites in his home town, Danlasan, Warawa LGA
